Celebrating 40 Years of Arkansas Music

In 1986, Little Rock ROCKS gave 12 local bands a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — to be featured on a real vinyl record, heard on Magic 105, and promoted across Arkansas. It wasn’t just an album. It was a movement. Now, 40 years later, it’s happening again!

We’re putting together a brand-new compilation album — 12 original songs by Arkansas artists, pressed to a limited-run vinyl and CD release that honors the legacy of the original 1986 and 1988 albums.

Whether you remember the first one… or you weren’t even born yet… this is your chance to be part of Arkansas music history.
